Dear All

I'm confussed, I've read loads of posts saying people feed their fish veg yet all the veg I throw in seems to float, i.e. cucumber, lettioce, spinmich etc etc. I thought about adding pieces of lead weight to hold it down but wondered if everyone else is doing the same thing, or is there some super sneeky wway to get the veg to sink ?, the reason I ask is if say the cumcumber is held down with weights all my fish seem to go for it, but if it just floats around the surface my fish seem do try and pick at it but quickly give up and dont seem bothered about it after a couple of mins, I assume the current in my tank is moving it around too much for them to be bothered with. Any help would be aprreciated.

I think rubber banding it to a rock would work best. Seems most pictures I've seen of vegies in tanks do something simular to that. Then again I've never fed my fish vegies of any kind but I'd imagine that's the best way to do it.

Often you can blacnh the veggies first, that means taking them throwing them in boiling water for a moment and then letting them cool down. They should sink after that. But attaching it to a rubber band or else buying a veggie clip which some fish stores sell is a good idea.
