Looks nice! What tank is he in? Curious to see his tankmates.

I had a tank leak and don't have the funds to replace it yet. So for now he is alone in a 10 gallon, with caves and lots of fake plants. I am waiting for my sister to come back from vacation, so that she can take the other fish I have. I will then place him into a planted 30gal with 2 honey gourami's and some exotic guppies.

What type of pleco is that!? He's gorgeous!!! Was he expensive? Where did you get him from? I would love to have a plec like that once I get some more tanks up and running! :D

The fish is called a spotted sailfin pleco. I got him at big al's here in toronto for 9$ when he was an inch long. he is gorgoes fish that does not bother anyone. He is a bit aggresive sometimes when others get in his space. When i first got him he was in a tank with yellow labs and one hybrid yellow lab, he was bitten on the fin and they took a little nibble at him. After that occasion he asserts himself and no fish have tried approuching him to closly.
He is also very tame towards people, i can take him out of the tank by hand to move him.
This is also the most active pleaco i have ever had. He is always darting around somewhere or just chilling in the open, but when he hides good luck finding him

Don't replace the tank that had a leak in it, just go get some water proof silicone and reseal it.

Eaiser said than done. Its super hard to get the old stuff off, and super hard to get the new stuff on smothly.

Beautiful fish. Some plecos are just amazingly gorgeous creatures. Who would have thought?

its not that hard, razor blades work wonders. I've resealed a ton of tanks, its better than tossin it and spending the money on a new one.
