Does anyone have experience with these and their interaction in a community tank? Especially their interaction with other bottom dwellers like Corys and other cats?

Lobsters/Crawfish = NO COMMUNITY.

They will eat all your live fish and creatures, especially bottom dwellers.

I'm thinkin bout tryin one too. Maybe the blue variant of the Florida lobster

You will definately lose some fish, but if you don't care, go for it! But it would be a shame for a nice community tank to become dinner for a lobster or crayfish

I would definetely not put a crawfish or lobster into a tank of community fish. They will just serve the purpose of being the lobster's dinner.

I don't specifically have the hammer blue lobster in my tank but I do have blue lobsters in mine. So far they haven't really caused any trouble at all, no fish caught...even though many of them sink to the bottom when they sleep. They actually arent that fast unless they need to get out of a situation. Also my female lobster is carring eggs at this time but I don't know that much on breeding them... any info would be helpful since I would like to though.

Not to be technical, but I don't believe there is a such thing as a FW lobster. They are all crayfish (or crawfish/crawdad whatever you prefer).

As for putting crayfish into a tank with fish.... really a bad idea if you like your tank. They might be fine now, in a month, or in a year but they will turn on your fish. As for them catching fish, they are quite adept at it... there is a thread that's not too old of someone's crayfish that won't eat dead fish because it likes the live ones more.

I think a better idea would be to find a shrimp (there are plenty of larger ones) that won't eat fish (plenty of them).
