What sand would be best to use as a substrate for my Midas, he is going into a 125g alone, and what kind of filtration should I use, I'm goign to add a penquin 330, along with another type of canister filter or two, what types of canister filters are the best, how are Fluval's ?

i think the fluv 404 is about the best for the buck,easy to maintain and set up. ive been looking at these filters lately FILSTAR XP3 CANISTER FILTER , and i think i will try one next, moves a little more water, and more room for media. but also about 40 bucks more,
