Hello,

I currently have a 40 gallon but I plan to upgrade to a 110 gallon South American cichlid tank. I plan to have a well setup tank with lots of hiding spots. I was wondering if it is possible to keep 2 oscars, 2 jack dempseys, 4 convict cichlids, and a 7" long pleco. I would buy the jack dempseys first, wait until they are a good size, then add the oscars, then the convicts. Do you think these fish would fight alot? Also, do the convicts get along with their own kind?

THANKS

I don't have much knowledge of Convicts cause they never lasted in my big tank but, If I were gonna get all those fish I would probably put them all in at the same time. Get them young and let them grow up together. You'll have a better chance of the tollerating each other.
