The next thing i am going to get is the all important lights.
This is what I was thinking but if anyone else has a better idea im all ears.

I want a beautiful full blown reef so if anyone has ideas I would appreciate it.
This is going to be my project/passion over the next year and i hope to keep a detailed record starting with the DIY stand/sump/setup.

P.S thanks Dave for pointing me in the right direction.

Your planning on keeping SPS I take it?

I just started working on a 20 high, going to be a caribbean reef, all ricordea. So my lighting and water movement are quite a bit less than SPS demands.

I cant really offer much in the way of additional advice, what you picked should work out great. Good luck with putting it all together, make sure to keep us updated.

I really havent started to put together the stocking list.I am not sure what i want but there are a few lps like the torch (Euphyllia glabrescens)that im in love with. But I am going slow with this setup and i will come up with all that later. thanks for the reply. good luck with the 20

I got the skimmer and the lights i mentioned and today i picked up the tank. i still need to build the stand and sump. i am not sure on the SCWD or sea squirt.
I am too excited somebody help me calm down. I have been putting together the "wish" list.
:Stylophora sp.
Acropora sp. ( probably purple and green)
montipora nodosus and montipora digitata so far.

I am still not sure of the fish that i want to keep. you guys have any suggestions? Flame pygmy or coral beauty keep popping in my head but is there anything cooler. I would like to have a mandarin but you know the deal with that. (I promise i wont even think about it for a year)
Just for fun any ideas?

I have been bad about that. It still doesn't look the way I want it, but I'll try to find a little time to take some photos next week.

If you want a dwarf angel you could try a pygmy angel ake the cherubfish angel its got a yellow face with a blue almost purple body. Stays small peacefull it's probably what I'm going to get for my tank. The lemon Angel is also another interesting looking one a bright almost irridesent yellow dwarf angel.
