I know this may sound off the wall, I swear almost everything about my tank does at one time or another, but I believe I have some baby Starfish.

I have a 30g tank with about 40 pounds of live rock and 3-4 inches aragonite sand. Along with various other inhabitants, I have 2 starfish in the tank; 1 Red Serpent and 1 Tiger Stripe Serpent and I love to watch them feed. We feed the tank about every 2 to 3 days and both Starfish greedily come after anything they can get their hands on.

Last night after feeding them I was investigating the tank with my red flashlight (I swear that is so much fun) and noticed two very small starfish. The larger of the two was about 1 inch diameter from tip to tip, and the other two were about 1/2 to 3/4 inch tip to tip. I have not added any rock in the last month or two so I do not believe they are hitch-hikers (considering I investigate the tank almost every night I would have seen them by now I would think). So, how likely is it that these little guys were born in my tank from one of the two already residing in the tank?
