Come on out of all you you have no advice to a newcomer? The fish stores here just want money so they just wanna sell me everything. Ive read thru the forums learned alot but everyones set up is a tad diff, even if its harsh im like a sponge right now absorbing everything. Thanks

Well nice i find a interesting saltwater forum and yeah.... Not a reply thanks anyways moderator you can delete my thread.

Sorry about the lack of replies. It's been quiet here lately.

Looks like a nice start, but I agree with Swimfins that more live rock would dress it up.

It looks like your hydrimeter is ready pretty high. It seems like the 1.022-1.025 levels are more in the middle where the markings are. Your not anywhere near that. :-\ I may be wrong though.

I looks like you have your live rock on the gravel. The only problem with this is some fish will bury themselves under the rock and could possible topple it over. Probably isn't a problem now, but once you start stacking it up it might. LR is quite expensive too. Might want to try some base rock, which will slowly become live as time passes

hope this helps

doesnt the uv sterilizer just kill all the organisms that the lr would consume anyway. i dont think the sterillizer is needed, and your just killing the liverocks food
