ive finally started a native fish tank!

we (my parents) aquired a 20acre property on the buffalo river (middle tennessee), and i soon got the idea to catch some minnows.
on my first trip down, i just caught a couple sculpin and a couple darters to see how the fish would adapt to captivity, and much too my surprise they thrived (except the larger darter ate the smaller one). on the next trip i became more ambitious and caught 5 small minnows, a tadpole, and some other type of fish that acts sortuf like a cory. I also found a 1inch long yellow bullhead catfish in a pond that was about to dry up (it was only about an inch deep and a couple feed wide) as it grows i will have to relocate or release it... a couple of the minnows died (this was expected as the 2 hour car trip was very stressful on the panicy minnows) but the rest seem to be doin fine
