Parrot's feather is not a truly aquatic plant, so I doubt it would do well long-term.

Yes, it is quite a true aquatic and will live for decades underwater.

Many plants will grow above the water if allowed to do so.

It's a weed.

Really? Thanks for the correction. I had done some research on it after seeing it for sale, and the sources I found said it wasn't truly aquatic. I guess I got some bad info, sorry about that.
