Would it be stupid to keep an aquarium heater in a fishpond to keep the temps up in the winter? I'm assuming it would be wprking constantly just to keep temps up. I live in the southern end of IL about 45 minutes north of Kentucky and about 5-6 hours south of Chicago so our weather is cold, but not near as harsh as Chicago. Would this be a moronic idea or should I just get a floater heater? Thanks
