I have a 10 gallon tank with both along with a few feeder guppies.

Thanks

Give them enough room, play the right music and have some wine and bam you got babies. ;)
Actually gambuisa, if you have a male with a couple of females of your choice you should be able to mate them. But I would only keep them in a tank by themselves. I would if possible get some virgin females, 4-5 with a couple of males of your choice and see what happens.
You could do 2 10 gallons with 1 male = 4 females in each tank as a good experiment. This may actually work, again, as long as you find virgin females. This way you know they do not have sperm in them from the male of the female 's species. So then when they do produce fry they are the hybrid. I am very interested in how this goes, please keep me informed.
