I have a marble hatchet that has been hanging out at the top of my tank a lot lately. The people at the pet store said that they jump and I have a half hood on my tank. I am worried that he is going to jump out and die.:(
Help please.
 
Hatchets are notorious for jumping. Cover the entire tank immediately. Don't even leave small spaces around the HOB filter, heater, or anything else going into the tank.
