I've got a 10g FW tank sitting in the bedroom, it's my all-purpose FW QT/plant grow-out tank. I feel I really should have a 10g QT for my marines, and gee, what happens if the polyps or mushrooms overgrow the 14g and need a new home?
There's a Penguin 170 (without the bio-wheel) on the back and 2-15W PC spiral PC bulbs in the hood. I've got 10lbs of Aragonite left over from when I set up the 14g... you see where I'm going here.
I have salt, a hydrometer, frozen foods, heck I even have too many hermits in the 14g! It's becoming progressively more and more difficult not to get a few lbs of LR at work and toss them into this tank. I keep telling myself it's fine, it's lovely as it is (currently healthy and algae free, but fishless and bare-looking, with just sand, snails and a few plants growing out), and then I look at it sitting there, doing nothing...
I'm sick. That's all there is to it. I've got raging MTS - is there a doctor in the house? Are there meetings for this sort of thing? If so, who is hosting one tonight, I need to go!
