I have had a male and female krib in a heavily planted tank with about 5 different caves in it with a few guppy fry to intice breeding but have had no luck they have been together for about 1 month now the female is around 2 inches maybe a little under and the male is about 4 inches could size differnce be a problem? i also have another female about the same size as the other female in a seperate tank should i swich females and see if the male likes the other one better?i tried to put both females in with the male to let him choose but the one female with a really red belly chases the other constantly. do u think the feamle in with the male now could be a male also? when i bought the 2 feamles the ones belly had always been beat red and the other was just normal colours whathould i do?

any information will be greatly appreciated

What's your temp?? Try raising to 80-82F. Feed them well with live and frozen foods.

Rylan, my kribs were in my tank for a few months before they actually bred. Some kribs are a good pair but will never produce offspring. Give them some more time, I don't think you need to adjust anything. They will breed when they are ready.

Also, I don't think your male would tolerate another male in his territory for long :), but you could post pictures and we could confirm whether they are m/f or not.
