your post if very confusing..... what do eggs have to do with it? are your fish spawning and NOW they are acting like this? you need to give more info on your tank specs. what size? water conditions? I know you said they were fine but cichlids are tricky and what is fine water for some fish might not be fine water for cichlids i guess. it is hard to help when you give a cryptic post.
