I know this is pressing the topic-threshold, but I'm having a problem with the outdoor lighting that lines my ponds and landscaping. I'm hoping someone has some similar experience or knowledge of this. I have around six mushroom lights that use the larger bulbs, similar to the older auto taillight bulbs. I also have two uplights and two spotlights. All four of these use the smaller bulbs that are about the circumference of a pencil. All are coming off of the same line which comes from one transformer plugged into a standard 110 recepticle. It is set to dusk/dawn light sensing for what its worth. For some odd reason, the four smaller bulbed fixtures are refusing to light. I ruled out bulb problems by buying a new set and trying them (also, none look burned out at all). I ruled out a bad feed to the line as I crimped and recrimped each on numerous times. I also ruled out a bad section of line as they are all alternating with the working fixtures and one is even the first light in the string. The only thing I can figure is that this is some sort of a voltage issue, only because its too much of a coincidence that all four won't light with working bulbs. Can ANYONE offer any suggestions for trying to get these to work? Unfortunately, I do not have the brand and voltage of the light handy although if necessary, I can try to get them. Thanks!!!!!!

BTW, all of these fixtures, lines, transformer, etc. came from the same set and should all work together.

Get a voltage tester and see what the voltage is at every light. You may have to far of a run for the lights and have to much resistance for the lights to work. You will be able to tell a lot with a voltage tester. Second is you need to find out the voltage (it will say on the power supply) It is probably 12v but that is a guess. Then check your bulbs and make sure they are the right voltage and wattage.
