Can fish food be used as a source of amonia when doing a fishless cycle?

Yes, but its not a good idea because you cant control exactly how much ammonia you will get. Pure liquid ammonia is much better.

Do you know the brand names of sources of ammonia? I cant seem to find any.

Try your local hardware or food store. I cant think of any brands of the top of my head bet here's a simple test: shake the bottle. If it forms its no good, if it doesnt its good stuff.
