Okay, I need some help figuring this prob out...

I used to have a saltwater aquarium setup, and now it's fresh. SO, everything is okay and all, but now I have remnants of some salt encrusted on the glass lids and trim.

I have 2 bio's, 1 protein skimmer, and 3 power heads. The aquarium is 125 gals, and I've had it for about 5-6 years... I think...

Anyways, I've been battling this for a good long time now, so has anyone ever dealt with this? And if so, is there a way to completely beat this???

Any help is thankful!

salt should come off real easy just takes water, but if its calcium build up you can use something acidic like vinegar and ive heard a lot of people using a paste made out of unsweetened lemon koolaid and water.

Okay... Well, I'll give all of those a try. I can tell you for sure though that it must not be JUST salt because it is a B!%(H to get off. I mean, I've even drained the whole thing out and tried to scrape the thing out, and it apparently came back...

I'll try the lemon cool aid and vinegar though and see what that does...
