If you want more fish you DEFINITELY need to get a tank bigger than a 10 gallon.

I would shop around for a 20-30 gallon.... or of course bigger if it's affordable

A 10gal is even too small for a pair of rams unless they have a good strong pair bond (male and female) Even then its much safer to have a 20long for them.

Way to small for that meny of fish rams like lot of room to swim.

Glad to hear that you are interested in rams! They dominate, fo' shizzle. Slang aside, I agree with the others... you need a much larger tank if you want to successfully keep your rams. If you are going to get 2 more, it would be wise to try and sex them because a harem of three females and one male would really be a good combination. You'd also have a nice chance at spawning them with that grouping, too.

So, I suggest at least a 30 gallon tank (would personally go with a 40-55) with lots of caves and hiding places (buy a coconut, cut it in half, remove the edible parts, boil them, and then make them little caves by adding a door!). Obviously, the more cover you provide, the better. Lastly, enjoy your rams with whatever set-up you decide on!
