Right. I recently bought a fish (on impulse) that looked for all the world like some kind of goby - particularly behaviorally. After trawling through fishbase i still have no idea what its common name or latin name is. So I would like some help please!
Description -
Size - 1" at the moment, but looks like it will grow larger
Appearance - grey. It has a head much like a khulli, but the body of a knight goby. It has two black stripes just below the dorsal. It has small bristles.
Behavior - secretive. It darts out for food from under its bogwood home, but is becoming more active as it learns to 'trust' its tank mates. To take into contex, my mother refers to it as the fish 'mouse'. Quite apt!
