I am SOOO happy right now! I am sitting in the hotel in Oslo also. We aren't leaving for home until tomorrow. So today I went to the doctor here and he said that the poison that I drank most likely won't hurt the baby and he said that the other doctor most likely didn't know what he was talking about. He said that there is a 10% chance that the baby will be deformed or won't make it but a 90% chance that it will be perfectly healthy! He said I got so sick because I was stressed out and worried so much. hahaha! I am just happy right now this probably doesn't make sense. My Haakon said this morning that our first girl will be names Astrid Katja so that makes me even more happy! I think he said that cause I was so worried!:D :clap: :clap: :D:D:D..that's all for now folks! :dance: :dance2:
 
I'm an old timer on this site, only recently visiting again, so I have no clue what's going on.. Why did you drink poison?
 
it was in the well on our property when we bought it a month ago..Haakon didn't get sick...he said it was because he is a tough Norwegian..probably so...anywaya I have a post about is a while back:)

Thats great, I hope you plan on promptly firing the doctor when you get home :rant: !!! I hope everything works out!! How far along are you?

Don't necessarily throw the doc out. Did he refer you to the specalist? I forget your original post..but if he recognized the problem and refered you for further consultation with they guy you just saw, I owuld say that's a good thing. At least he recognized a potential for a problem and sent you to an expert...who didn't say 100% chance of no problems, but you don't get that guarentee with any pregnancy. Much better than patting you on the hand and saying it will be ok dearie...and you unknowingly having a baby with problems. That's why people are sent to specalists.

Now with that said...if your doc didn't refer you to the specalist and you found him on your own and went, I'd go back and give the other guy heck and find another doc.

And keep drinking that bottled water. Wells can easily be contaminated, based on the soil that is near it. Have it tested. USe it for bathing...doing laundry..washing the car...but drink bottled water. And keep doing it after you have the baby unless you can ge sure it is safe.
