Hi everyone its been awhile since I posted. I just have a few quick Q?????

1. How do you prevent black algae from going on artificial plants? Its not horrible but annoying enough that it makes me ask.

2. With the tank of fish that I have below, what other if any fish could I add? I would like to get a pl*co and something else if I can(angel fish?) Just wondering what gets along with what I have so everyone is still happy.

I think you about at max already. An angel fish will get killed by the parrots.

If you MUST-Must get another fish maybe try either 3 tinfoil brabs or 3 siver dollars.
 
A bristlenose would be a great choice pleco-wise, Stay pretty small and are good algae eaters (although I don't know if they will eat the algae you're having a problem with.
 
have you tried a seach of these forums for 'black algae'?
i think I remember seeing a post about something that eats it, but i cant rememebr what.
