death valley this past spring wasn't near that dense, but still pretty spectacular considering how rairly flowers bloom there. A family member sent me some pictures of death valley during the bloom.

If anyone ever visits the Antelope Valley, you should stop by the poppy reserve, especially when they're in bloom. It's very beautiful, and hey, it's our state flower. (Correction: it's my state's flower.)
