Hi there,
I have the perfect website, and article for you. These are all african cichlids from Lake Malawi. Visit http://www.malawimayhem.com. Its a great site with all the info you will need to properly care for these guys. As for Ids, i can help you out, but theres also an article on how to ID common african cichlids, which most of yours are. The post is here: http://www.malawimayhem.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3107

FishA= Melanochromis auratus. Males are dark blue/black like that and females are yellow/black/white. If you have more than 1 male i suggest removing the extras, these guys are usually extremely aggressive. http://www.malawimayhem.com/profile_show.php?id=284

FishB= Maylandia/Metriclima crabro aka "Bumblebee cichlid". http://www.malawimayhem.com/profile_show.php?id=314

FishC= Maylandia/Metriclima estherae aka "Red zebra". They usually range from the dull pink color of yours to a more vibrant red. There is also a blue/red variety where the males are blue and females are red. http://www.malawimayhem.com/profile_show.php?id=278

FishD= Kind of hard to tell by the picture, but could be a male blue/red zebra. A better profile of the face will help, also might have to wait until it colors up (if it does).

FishE= Some sort of Aulonocara, its hard to tell by the picture.... might be stuartgranti maulana... http://www.malawimayhem.com/profile_show.php?id=34. ;)

Hope that helps
:)

thank you all for the information.

Now from finding out alittle information it says that the red zebra shouldnt be kept with any of the other fish. and you mention getting rid of one of the male auratus. Now these fish have grown up together with alot of the same types of fish and some fronto's. does having them all grow up together relieve any of their aggression towards each other? or will providing them more cover relieve aggression? I mean they all seem to get along majority of the time. only problem is the two auratus but they both have been staying on seperate ends of the tank from what ive seen lately.

Yeah, just so you know, i have a 90 gallon tank full of malawi and tang cichlids right now and i wouldnt dare add an auratus to the mix... just to give you an idea how aggressive they are. Sometimes you luck out and get one that is 'peaceful' and doesnt bother anyone else, but its rare. Its best to get rid of one, if not both of them. The two i would worry about most are the auratus and bumblebee, as both can get aggressive. I would worry about them picking on your peacocks. OR, you could go the other way and keep the aggressive ones but get rid of the peacocks, which will most likely get beat up somewhere down the road.

Adding lots of extra rockwork helps, but not always.

How large is your tank, btw?

I wouldn't mix Fronts into that tank. They get quite large and are carnivores, not overly aggressive, but like most fish if they get the urge and think they fit it in their mouth, they just might try.

55 gallon. But what i dont understand is would i see the aggresiveness now? or would it appear over time, or just happen out of the blue one day? Cuase they will all swim together and only the aurtas will ever chase each other around. but right now as im looking at them all 3 aurutas are swimming near each other and acting fine..

Also i wont ever put frontos in, i found out quickly about their size and refuse to add them..

But just to give you an idea of my friends tank, he has a 55gallon, with at least 8 aurtas, 4-5 frontos, 4 bumblebee, 4 peacocks and a few red zebra's. Someone gave him them all as fry and he raised them since.
