Ok sure. I only speak baby :)

Story:
Bacteria in the tank need to break down ammoina and nitrites and turn them into nitrates. Ammoina is the fish poo, and rotting stuff in your tank. Some little bacteria come along and eat this stuff. They then produce nitrites. Nitrites are the end reuslt of ammoina. Another bacteria comes along and eats the nitrites. It then produes nitrates. These nitrates are safer than the ammoina, and nitrites. They can be safe up to 80ppm (parts per million), but 20ppm is a good limit.

How To:
You first need to all liquid ammoina into your tank. You add it drop by drop until you can get a test level of 5ppm. Everyday you have to test and top it off at 5. 1-3 weeks later the ammoina will drop and you will see nitrites. At this time you will need to top up the ammoina to 2-3ppm. Keep topping off the ammoina and keep testing everyday. Another 2-3 weeks later you will have 0 ammoina, 0 nitrites, and 5-80 nitrates within 24 hours of adding the 2-3ppm of ammoina. At this time your cycle is done, and you can begin to stock.

1. Get a good test kit for Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates.

2. Get "pure" or "100%" or "nothing added" ammonia that doesn't foam when you shake the bottle.

3. Do what Kasakato said

4. Be very patient, have fun using the test kits, don't be tempted to add fish until you're done cycling!
