I have a few small plants that are trying to grow but their leaves are being munched on in the night. The culprit doesn't seem to be bothering the larger plants.

My list of fish:

Botias:
1 clown
1.Striata
1 yoyo
1 Red finned
2 Darios
1 kuhli
1 tiger
1 angelicous

Tetras:
3 serpaes
3 Lemons
2 black phantoms

Other fish:

1 Raphael spotted catfish
1 Gold nugget pleco
1 Black ghost knife
1 pearl guarami
1 red tail shark

Somebody is plant munching and I want to know who it could be.... :shark:

It's the pleco!!

Hmm, that would make sence. I originally had a 55g. I broke the tank and replaced it with my 60g. All the same fish in the 55g went into the 60g. Maybe since it is a new tank with no algea build up the pleco is turning elsewhere for his diet? obviously my plants..??.. Where in the 55g he had built up algea before...??..

I'll get him some algea disks later, maybe that hill keep him off the plants. :thm:

If anyone has any good or bad comments on my setup or stocking I am happy to hear it. :bowing:

I won't disagree with the idea that it's the pleco, BUT I will say that I had botia loaches (clowns, striata, yo-yos) that would munch the first bit of A.nana leaves just before they opened up. Don't know which ones it was for sure, because I moved all of them and the munching stopped.
