i have a 48 gl tank with 2 groumis 3 columian sharks 2 angels and apleco
i am wantinhg to get soem schooling fish liek soem sorta tetra and how many that would be ok in the tank witht he others andy suggestions

what kind will be good in my tank
and should i buy 6 at ones or 3 then buy 3 more in a week or so

you should buy 6 and use a QT tank.

Honestly I wouldn't get anymore fish, those sharks are going to get huge, as well as the pleco depending on what kind it is. With the sharks alone you need a bigger tank :o

Youd be alright with a small school IMO, Harlequin Rasboras or Rummynose are my suggestions for small active schooling fish.

Not too familiar with the sharks, but I can safley say that youll never have that problem with Gouramis or the Angles. They will most likley totally ignore them. Rummynose and Harlequins are very fast fish.....those fish wont even get close to them

Depends on what kind of gouramis, some of them get very large. Any fish that can fit another in its mouth might eat it. I've heard of many cases of neons becoming angel food, some of the rummynose I've seen aren't too much bigger. It is always worth trying any fish together that might work, as long as you are ok with the potential consequences ;)
