Hi, got two malawis, I have a feeling they're some kind of peacock. Sorry about the blurriness.

These are victorians. the second is wrongly known as obliquiden in the trade. Its proper name is SP44 or thickskin Haplochromis.

The first one is commonly known as Obliquedens (Astatotilapia latifasciata). The second one is Brownae (Astatotilapia brownae).

Not sure the correct scientific names for them though.

Yeah I third that they are Victorians. They have so many common names I dont care to even try...

And they are aggressive! Watch out... we have some Flamebacks in our 90 gallon with the big Malawis and Tangs and they are getting to be boss. Very beautiful... but the color spells danger. Not a beginner's fish IMO.
