This is a guy that has a shop right down the road from my house, and I dropped in today to see his setup. He has some pretty neat things, but this blew my mind. You HAVE to see this thing in person to really grasp the enormity of it.

Get this, he makes hughe architectural colums by chucking a WHOLE TREE onto a huge lathe and grinding the tree into a pretty column. This was a tree left over from one such job. Just look at the pics. Unbelieveable!

PETT -- ..can see it now...

People for the Ethical Treatment of Trees ! :D

Hmmm - why was the category removed from the book??

Hiding my head in sawdust, that's where. I haven't had a lot of time for aquatics, and my fish are now using new cuss words since I haven't done much upkeep the past month or so.

Are they cussing hair algae, like mine are?

No, they've figured out how to make it a viable food source. I like to keep my fish happy. Note, my tank with native sailfin mollies has 0 algae in it, and a bunch of hungry mollies.
