Bak-Pak bubble problem

I have a cpr backpak 2 reef and it is constantly releasing bubbles into the tank! I put a sponge on the output and it didn't help. I haven't replaced water for a week, and I add no supplements.
The miro-bubbles scare the fish badly- they hide under rocks and dont come out unless I feed them.

Something isn't right on your setup maybe, because I have the same skimmer and it releases minimal bubbles, not enough to even notice? Could you take some pictures maybe?

nevermind, I tuned it so it produces skimmate and no bubbles go in the tank.
