what's the ettiquite of mixing wrasses? Can I have more than one 6-line in a tank? What about 6-lines and banded possum wrasse? Are they hostile towards their own or similar species? Also how do yellow tangs mix with these wrasses and can I have a yellow tang and a raccoon butterfly together?

To answer the first question I don't know I've never tried it. In general s.w. fish are pretty territorial and anything other than a mated pair will cause some real problems. However if they look different and use different environments to gater foods you probably won't have an issue. As to the tang you don't want to get anything that looks too much like it they really don't play well with others in the tank environment. Also they and lots of the b-flys tend to get pretty big.

some wrasses tend to be better with other wrasses than others and I never though that my 6-line wrasse was aggressive, until I added my fridimans phsudochromis. He was chasing him for a few days and now they get alond fine. I think that you should try it and if the 6-line comes up to the bag and flares up to the possum wrasses then it is probebly to a good idea, if he does it the whole time you have the bag in there. how big is the tank, that is the main thing.
