Shelf life of root tabs?

I have Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Root Tabs plus Iron from about two years ago. I only used them for a little bit and forgot all about them. Are they still good? Still individually sealed and look pretty much the same from then. I would imagine so, just wanted to make sure.
 
They can be more trouble than they're worth. One time, I forgot I had one in and decided to rearrange my plants. The next thing I know I had a major case of green water. If you decide to use them, make sure you don't disturb them for at least a month.

I couldn't agree more. There are very few plants that require root feeding and the risks of using them, unless you are careful, far out weighs their benefit, IMO.
