I can't decide what to put in my 10 gallon tank. I am thinking about telescopes, piranas(spelling?), or maybe something else? I can't decide so what do you think would be good for a 10 gallon tank.

alright I figured it would be. The telescopes get to big too. Hmm... I'll do some looking. Any suggestions anyone?

hmm

Plus, you need to be careful with piranhas. They have been known to bite their owners when being fed. Plus, some places have ordinances against owning pirahnas.

I'd get Some tetras and mabye a dwarf gouramie or two

only one dwarf gourami in a 10 gallon. and a few tetras.

Some of the smaller tetras (neons, cardinals, glowlights, embers), smaller rasboras (harlequins, espes), corydoras catfish, bettas, dwarf gouramis (or something like sparkling gouramis), shrimp, African DWARF frogs (not the larger frogs people commonly mistake them for), guppies (all males/females, don't mix), endlers, etc.

I would personally probably get a dwarf gourami and some neons.

For the record, also, an African Butterfly fish will not work in a 10g tank either.

Because it seems like you are interested in the less common fish, maybe you could find some killifish that would work (I'm not that well versed in them).

Neolamprologus Multifasciatus......a lake Tanganyikan shelldweller species. Very interesting fish...I have 2 males and one female and two little fry in a tank with reefsand and crushed coral substrate....lots of shells and a small piece of tofa rock and two plants.
