View Full Version : A month by month picture sets of my reef

Hi everybody,

I have put together pictures of my reef from when I started till now. I am
wondering if my reef is progressing like it should. I'm concerned mostly about my mushrooms. You can see from the pics on the growth. If I can get some opinions on my growth, it would help out a lot. I know I don't have alot of corals there now but I like to do things slowly.

It looks good, what size Seios are you using? Whats the maxi-jet used for? I dont know why I thought of it but in the 8th and 9th picture it looked like the background of the tank was black... but the rest look blue. I don't know if your willing to but check out what your tank looks like with a black backround instead of the one you have, it will take away from the look of the power heads and bring out the contrasting coral colors. Just a thought... looks good!

The only corals I consistantly see in the pictures are your xenia, and they look like they're growing good :)

I second that opinon the whole set up looks really good. What sort of corals are you planning on adding next . Think that you're going to stick with softies?

Nice going. The zoos seem to be pretty happy. Are those star polyps on the rock with the xenia?
