i finally got my CD!!! "45 or 46 songs that weren't good enough to go on our other records" by NOFX including such memorable songs as

I used to like NOFX a lot. Kind of got tired of Fat Mike's lyrical commentary, however. you can only hear so much about someone's politics before it just makes you a bit numb. And, unfortunately for Fat Mike et al, they have never grown up while their audience has. Sure, there'll always be younger kids to replace the older ones that branch off in search of somethingmore mature and meaningful, but you can really only hold an audience so long until you become a really old parody of yourself.

I mean, do The Who even sing my generation anymore? "Hope I die before i get old..." TOO LATE!
 
my husband is 33 and has been listening to NOFX faithfully for about 20 years. i'm 20 myself and i think they're great. i think they're funny and make a lot of good points, even if i dont agree with their liberal agenda, they still are right about a lot of things.
