Just thought I'd post another thread of random pics from my nano - I like seeing pictures of other people's tanks, hopefully someone will enjoy seeing these (though I wouldn't be surprised if a few of you are getting tired of seeing my little tank!) :D

My orange-spot goby with the rescued brain, bleached but eating well:

New zoas! I grabbed these little orangey polyps (front) at work today. Now there are about six varieties of zoanthids in the tank and sooo many little nooks and crannies just begging for more...

Face-off - these two have been politely shoving each other around for a while now; the ycg thinks every coral in the tank belongs to him, and the maroon keeps trying to check out the hammer, but this little terror won't let him near it!

Enjoy :D

looking real good blinky. nanos are great because you dont have to cover alot of rock with coral to make it look good unlike my 120 gal. what type of hammer is that and is it hard to keep up with. an how do i post pics.

again great tank

Thanks :D
It's a wall hammer (as opposed to branching), Euphyllia ancora is the Latin name IIRC.

To post pictures, I first upload them to www.photobucket.com, then cut and paste the URL that's listed underneath the photo in my gallery into a post. Works for every forum I've been to so far. If you're hosting them elsewhere, you might have to right click on the picture, select 'properties' and then cut the URL from the window that appears. You can either use the little yellow picture button in the post window or manually type and tags (without the extra space after the L) around the address.

Gee Blinky.......do you think a 30 something gallon hex will make a nice little FOWLR setup ??

Someone wants to get rid of thiers and are offering it to me for free.......no stand or hood though...(DANG!)...with no inverts or corals I wouldn't think lighting will be a problem as far as the depth goes....am I right ?

Beautiful tank BTW Blinky....I never tire of looking at it ! Thanks for sharing !! ;)

Thanks! :D
I've seen some gorgeous hex setups, both reefs and FOWLRs. I think the shape is a bit hard to work with, but if someone is offering the setup free why not go for it? If you're not keeping corals the light is probably fine, and if you do decide to switch to a reef you could hang a single MH pendant over the tank (PC/T5 might be more tricky because of the shape).
