Fraging Green Star Polyp

Hi Guys,

I a colony of green star polyp's that have made thier home on a large peice of live rock the colony is about 4" accross it was about an inch when i got it 4 months ago.

I am now looking to frag it to add colour to some other areas of the tank or exchange for something different

Anyone got any tips or instructions on fraging star polyps?
 
It's pretty hard to get off the rocks. Some people place a rock with GSP next to sand or glass, and let the colony grow onto it, then it's easy to cut off and remove. I have also put snail shells or small rocks into the path of a growing colony, then moved them when enough of a colony has formed.
