Are there any FW stingrays that can fit in a 55?

Well, are there? I don't really think so, since the 55 isn't very wide, but maybe I'm wrong? I know teacups are really just babies. I really like how they look, and the way they swim is so peaceful.

no, freddy if you want to find out stuff about stingrays go to aquaticpredators.com its a great forum. Sting rays need a very wide aquarium your right, "teacup" describes quite a few different species babies

No way. When I bought my first 4" wide one I housed it into a 20 gallons. Kept it there for only 15 days. I changed him to a 70 gallon. Kept him there for 4 months. Now he is in a 230 gallon tank.

Freddy....my fish guru says to tell you that there is in fact a true species with the name of Teacup Stingray.....or Potamotrygon reticulata.

I don't know about that. Its generally known that teacup rays are called teacups because they are small. And at such a small size they can't properly be identified. Most likely a teacup labelled at the LFS could be a couple species
