What is the best way to care for plants, I have been having some problems wiht mine, it seems they are slowly dying and my water gets cloudy everytime I add new plants, any suggestions?

First, I would suggest reading the stickies and researching on this forum some of the threads
Secondly, how many watts of light and how big a tank do you have?
You'll quickly realize that there are a few small things to know in terms of plant care, and once everything is in check, you can have a much nicer and healthier aquarium then one without them.
