I hate asking this kind of question but...
I need a skimmer for a 75g fowlr. At the moment the aqaurium is too close to the wall to use a hang on. I have a wet/dry sump below the tank but little room exists for an in-sump version so I need to get one that sits underneath the tank on the outside next to the sump.
I'm looking at either the Red Sea berlin turbo or the Euro Reef but I'm not sure of a few things.
Can either of these be used as an out of sump skimmer? What are the pros and cons of either of these or is there a better option? Flaws?

unless you were looking at large Euro Reefs... they can't be run out of the sump. I have the ES5-3 and love it.

You might also look into Tunze. They make a very good line of in-tank skimmers.
