Tank size recomend for fighters

I have a 70 and a 55 right now. They contain an 18" Pacu, 20" Silver Arowana, 8" Albino Tiger Oscar, and 6" Pink Gourami.

The problem is that the Oscar fights with the Pacu and Gourami.
I am wanting to combine them all into a massive tank and wanted to know what size to get so that they don't "constantly" fight and will also have swimming room for the Arowana.

I am thinking a 96"x24"x24" will be best with large amounts of plants to hide. Should I try and find a 30" high? Will a 6' long work for the Aro?

Your Gourami may be fish food in the long term...it is not recommended to keep Arowanas with anything smaller than a football, nor with anything surface-dwelling (Aquarium Fish, Sept. 2002). (If the Pink Gourami is one of the larger ones, my bad...)

I would go the other route, and buy several large tanks so each fish can have it's own home. Gauranteed to stop conflicts.

Not sure a planted tank would work for the oscar or the pacu. The oscar will probably rip up the plants, while the pacu will eat them.

I would be putting in fake plants and only ave room for one aquarium. This is why I am getting one large one. I hate having two. The Gourami is still far too large to fit in the Aro's mouth and can definately hold it's own against the larger fish.
I don't know why they say Pink Gouramis are communty fish. There is a reason why this one is one of my original fish from 5 years ago and has outlived every other. He sometimes picks on the Oscar and Aro.:eek:

Pick the one that's interesting enough to you to keep on its own, and give it a suitable solo aquarium...

Or keep other fish...
