old 40g setup with Tangs

Neolamprologus Brichardi,
Lelupi (Lemon ciclids)
& Julidichromis Regani
bristlenose pleco

what best filter for tang tank , been told best to over filter, could use fuval 304, 404 or rena XP2 and which from these three for 60g.

304 is on 40g at moment.

i'll post pictures and log of how setups are going, i should get my 60g in two weeks fingers crossed. i'm leaving 40g empty for while then start tang setup so i can check that the coral sand and rocks are gettng the water chemisty right for the fish, think i'll o for lace rock or a limestone based rock with plenty holes and caves no plants and a marine blue lighting with a blue background

i might get more ottos one day, he is the only remaining otto out of five i got several years ago.

second tank is african cichlids not marine - i'm styling it on a fish only marine tank.

this is how 40g looks now, it will soon become home to the cichlids and these fish are moving into other room into the 60g

i'd have to get shells for shellies? types? heard about turbo?? what would you sugest as stock in tang tank?

it took me awhile to get plants to grow well, i think it was because of the depth of the tank. i only grow low light plants now, see 40g link in signiture to see what plants i have.

hopefully the new 60g will be better, i'm adding plant food to new substrate and uping the wattage of lights. but it wil be planted with bogwood etc like my 40g at moment.

angel marble, not really sure, it looks like a marble more then anything else.
