sort of.

They are a pair, but so far not a breeding pair. These are the two I got from Emg. Thanks again Emg!

Male

The male is much bigger than the female for some reason. They do get along well, and seem to enjoy each other, but haven't had any fry as far as I can tell.

They look Great Bawlsy ! Glad you are enjoying them ! The males usually are a bit bigger than the females. The one pair I kept from that batch is the same way.

Hope they spawn for you Bawlsy...though they may not raise the fry on their own...most likely will eat them...lol..that's been my experience with these fish so far.

Do you have any other fish in the tank with them ? If not and they seem a bit shy and skittish, it may help to add some dither fish, some smaller tetras or something. My pair I have in the 20long were shy and spooky until I put in some female guppies..now they come to the front any time they see me instead of shooting off behind the filter to hide.

Nope, not shy at all. 90% of the time, they're front and center.

Thanks Freddy

Emg, they only hide when I have the camera out. Go figure...

Nice pair!!! I'm thinking of getting one......Oscar(many of you know bout' him) would probaly eat them though!:P He now LOVES to hit the top of the tank... I'll be in my room and suddenly you hear a *pop* and he hits the top of the tank! Silly guy!

I'm going to have to sneak away sometime this week and check that place out. My wallet could hate me for this....
