Aquatic plants 101?????

I would like to add plants to a small tank I've started...5.5 gallon. The tank is currently about 3/4 through a cycle and contains a zebra danio and a betta. Is it too late now that the tank is already started? Can anyone give any plant suggestions for a small tank? :help:

Plants can be added any time. Try anubias and cryptocorynes. Check www.tropica.com for a good guide to what plants you can keep, max height, and light requirements.

its never too late to add plants. Since your tank is a 5g tank, it's most likely a very low-low light setup. Try these out:

Narrow leaf java fern
anubias nana
anubias nana petite
anacharis
hornwort
java moss
marimo (algae or moss) balls
