If you check out my site, it is mostly about Apistogramma breeding. Unable to update it due to AOL policy but it is still there anyway. There are lots of other Apisto sites in the 'Links' section.

Take a look at Apistogramma.com [click here] (http://www.apistogramma.com) . It's a specialized web site with a helpful community and access to by-email vendors. I think I see some of the same people here.

hope this helps,

Firetank, I used a program they supplied but not maintained by them. You notice there are no ad's or pop-ups. They want me to use a site (Hometown) with pop-ups and I just am too old to start it all over again.
Apistogramma.com also has a very informative forum for you to ask questions.

Zman, dont mean to go on...

to relay\design the site--
have you thought about asking any local colleges with students studying web design, they may need the work for final year coursework??/

(im studying multimedia, and id jump at a chance of something like that, but im way off yet....)

Some good ones:

The krib is still the most complete. Go to www.thekrib.com and click on "Apistogramma & dwarfs".

Aquamania: Some good articles. http://www.aquamania.ws/

Several good articles on the Greater Seattle Aquarium Society site. Go to their article archive at http://www.gsas.org/Articles/

Z Man's site is very good.

Look at David Soares' site at http://www.aquabotanic.com/DavidSoares.htm

There's a site with great pictures in the "fishroom" at http://apistogrammaidiots.com/index.html

Firetank, My daughter built and runs the site for Buffalo State College (SUNY) among a few others so I guess I'm just plain lazy. There isn't much more I can tell about breeding Apisto's anyway as they all breed almost alike. I have bred about 40 different ones so far. The only different one I haven't tried is the delayed mouthbroor my friend is working with and will give me some juveniles when he has them.
