how much light is enought for 130gal reef?

hello all.

total of 400 watt for 130 gal.

do ya guy think id good enought to keep hrad/soft coral.

please point me the right direction.

What size is your tank? When you say hard coral are yo talking lps or sps? Are you looking at 1 400 watt mh?

I use 3 175 watt 10k halides and 2 40 watt flors and 2 40 watt actinics in my 135. I have had great growth, tho I could actually up the wattage. This setup works fine for my SPS and my clams have always been happy.
