Hi all, I am cycling my tank and am getting a lot of brown algae. I do not have anything in there yet to clean it. Is there anything I can do to curb this? Should I curb this?

It sounds like diatoms, which often proliferate early during a tank's life. The bloom will probably die down soon. You can siphon them off if you want.
