Last night i found some really tiny bubbles on the surface of my tank. I thought it was from my filter so i tried to investigate. Alas! It is coming from one of my Anubias. Not just some bubbles but its like a line of tiny bubbles, its like a thin thread. It also won't stop. Anything like this happened with your anubias? I know some plants do "pearl" but first time to see a plant emitting bubbles like this.

I tried to capture an image but this is all i can get. Click ont he link below to see a larger image.

Very nice squall!!! It is funny how excited we can get over seemingly trivial stuff. Is that a type of sword just to the right of center? The green plant with large leaves.

Not anubias, but my valisneria used to emit long strings of tiny bubbles from invisible breaks in the leaves, like tiny bubble 'fountains' . Very cool (until the leaf started to rot!).

Wow! Looks good. Your pictures are very clear and the plants look super healthy. No sign of any algae anywhere. From the middle pic it also looks like the plants are thick too.

Bevi I wondered about that plant too. I'd have to guess giant hygro.

Yep, those streaming bubbles aren't actually from the pearling (well, technically they are) but are caused by a break in the plant membrane. After trimming my baby tears I can literally get a bubble fountain going.
