This is every other post Ive seen lately. It gets so frustrating being a reader looking into these contraverseys, I can only imagine what the original poster feels. I have seen the phrase "you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar." I think we all need to remember this before we type out our replies. I have not been 100% innocent of lashing out lately, mostly due to the fact that some of these posts are so heated. Lets all try to make a concious effort to be nice, shall we? A friend of mine from years ago always had different oppinions than mine and we commonly used the phrase "we agree to disagree". When disagreeing with someone elses oppinion, try to do so in a respectable manner, mabey you will actually get somewhere that way.

So lets try to show some

I have to agree there is way too much fighting. There are some people around(like somethin fishy) That know how to quietly disagree without tar and feathering them. By the way none of you can take any critiscism
That was a joke :)

I agreed with that, just now one guy is making my temper raise. In the thread called "dyed fish pic" or something. Just why cant people stop starting trouble!

Well at least when people disagreed about what others wrote, they should say it in a nice way, which ofcourse we will reply them with nice way as well.

Whoops, I was going to quote myself but I hit edit then erased my post. Well I think it was...

Im not pointing the finger at anyone, and Im guilty too. that summs it up right?

just a couple of thoughts (okay, liv2pdl, maybe not thought. it is the closest i come to it):

if you type something on a bulletine board that looks like it could be read in an offensive way--it will be.

If it seems you are stirring up passions--walk away until cooler heads will prevail.

ignore the trolls and they go away--it is never fun for them if they don't get a rise out of the place they target. This one is hard. Seems trolls pull the parent out in all of us. And, we all have that funny desire to be "right". That is what the trolls leverage.

Leave it up to the moderators to keep track of and weed out the trolls. That way it is easy to avoid the flame wars. The mods usually catch up to a board and its problems. Usually takes them awhile because they are running to the bank to deposit all the money they make from being a mod--lol.

Takes two to tango--takes two for a troll to get what he/she wants. And, the trolls really like it when they divide a board. Getting one regular to attack another is a fun game for them.

The fact that this thread exists is a reward for the trolls out there. Think about it --the board is reacting to them.

You guys have a great site--a busy one--trolls can get lost in the rear view mirror easily and quickly if you ignore them.

The post may be viewed as a reward to the trolls, but if the real members of this site read it and the message gets accross, then the trolls loose. I actually dont think some of the posts I was thinking of involed troll activity(I think more differing thoughts of valued members at a stressful time of year), but by adding your comments this thread will help with that problem as well. :D

You were right sully, next time I'll just let what those people wanted to say, think as if its not even posted. If they get over the limit, they will be banned anyway. Thanks.
